Get Involved
There are many ways to be involved with the WPO, including:
Monthly Meetings: Open to all, meetings take place on the first Wednesday of each month during the school year, unless otherwise indicated. Meetings start at 7:00 PM in the Warrior Room and/or on Zoom.
Cinderella’s Closet: A free boutique that's open before Homecoming and Prom for students to shop for formalwear such as suits, ties, dresses, jewelry, purses, shoes and makeup. Donations are accepted all year round. Dresses should be labeled "Cinderella's Closet" and dropped off at Door 1.
Craft Fair: This annual community event features more than 100 vendors to raise funds to support Willowbrook student scholarships and other support needs.
Scholarship Committee: Open to non-senior parents, this annual committee solicits applications and awards scholarships based on the funding amounts approved by the WPO.
Willowbrook's Got Talent: The WPO coordinates with school staff and students to host a variety show that celebrates student performances.
Bake Sales: WPO runs bake sales several times during the school year, including Halloween, Valentine's Day, and Brook Olympics. Parents/guardians and community members donate baked goods (homemade and store-bought), and volunteers work the bake sales during the lunch periods. Everything is $1!
Teacher Appreciation Week: Each May, WPO coordinates food and fun for the entire Willowbrook staff to show our gratitude for all they do.
